About Freedom Challenge

The program applies biblical principles to their everyday life in order to help them overcome the issues that led to their incarceration. Freedom Challenge is currently developing an aftercare component that contains mentoring and community resources inside, as well as outside of the prison. The program's mission is “setting prisoners free;” not from prison itself, but from the life-controlling issues that placed them there. Restoration programs are in the works as well, so that we will be able to address all areas of an inmate’s life should they need us again. It is important to have a plan in place, whether the person is still an inmate or is at home. We will be there to help point them in the right direction. God has been doing a great work here at Freedom Challenge in Lawton Geo Correctional Facility.  Inmates are surrendering their lives to Christ and deepening their commitments to live a better life.
